Days 2,3,4,5
All of these days will focus on Point Pelee National Park to enjoy the daily influx of different species as they conclude the crossing of Lake Eerie on their northward spring migration. Different overnight winds will determine the number and species that arrive each morning and constant scanning of the park will offer up an enormous number of species including up to 30 species of warbler, cuckoos, vireos, sparrows and many more. See the checklist for the entire list of possible species |

Coffee, breakfast and lunch will be provided each day in the park as we explore the many different locations. Hillman's Marsh, 15 minutes outside the park, also offers a good number of shorebirds, ducks, geese, raptors and passerines and our afternoons will often take us in this direction.
Field Notes meeting each evening will help you reinforce the species enjoyed each day. |
